General Information


  • ILP offers emergency financial support to eligible FORMER foster youth, ages 18 to 21. ILC will verify eligibility
  • Emergency financial assistance may be provided for UP TO 90 DAYS to stabilize living conditions and/or personal circumstances of eligible youth.

  • For housing needs, youth may be eligible for the Transitional Living Program

  • For medical insurance, Chafee Medicaid and Kaiser Bridge Program is available for former foster youth.

  • ILP may deny emergency financial assistance if supporting documentation necessary for payment or reimbursement is not provided by the youth or vendor.

  • Local community organizations may be able to address your emergency needs immediately, such as churches, not-for profits, etc.
